This course gives
the teacher insights into how AIDS is contracted, at-risk behavior, preventive
methods and compassionate behavior toward those who have contracted the
virus. Included is a curriculum on how to teach about AIDS and a tape
on teaching methods and techniques. A final project takes you out
of the books and into real life situations.

*CREDIT: Semester hours of non-degree Professional Development Credit is offered through LMU. Students meeting course syllabus requirements earn a grade on their transcript of CR (credit). Students not meeting requirements earn a grade of NC (no credit). Professional Development Credit is not applicable toward any undergraduate or graduate degree at Loyola Marymount University. Courses are designed for student with baccalaureate degrees and appropriate teaching credentials.
