Better Digital Photography for the Classroom

Description

With the advent of digital, filmless photography, it is easier now than ever to integrate photography into the classroom. But, since a picture says a million words, the problem of making a picture that depicts what you wish to teach with impact and effectiveness is still an age-old problem. In this course, you will learn how to take better photographs and how to manipulate the images. It is for beginners or those wishing to relearn the basics using a PC or Mac. A basic understanding of computers, the Internet and email attachment is necessary. The instructional videos will be accessed online. You will also use the online version of Photoshop Elements to edit your images. There is no charge for this. All assignments are submitted electronically as they are performed. A high speed Internet connection is preferred.

Course Type

These are courses delivered via email. During the course you will correspond, interact and submit assignments to your instructor via email. You may earn two to four semester hours of credit, depending on which Email Course you choose.
