Cooperative Learning

Description

Research strongly suggests that when group activities are organized in line with cooperative learning principles, multiple benefits accrue. These include increased learning, improved attitude toward school, deeper thinking, greater liking of other ethnic groups, and higher self-esteem. This practically-oriented course explains cooperative learning principles and techniques and explores their application to participants’ own teaching contexts. All assignments are submitted electronically as they are performed.
