Literature to Teach Life Lessons: For the Elementary Teacher

Description

Literary tools and remedies to use in primary classrooms to resolve conflict, reinforce positive lessons through life experiences, and examine student emotional and moral growth (or lack thereof) not reflected on the report card. Materials that facilitate discussions depicting life situations and hands-on, real-life examples for solutions are also included.

Course Type

These are non-classroom based, self-directed, independent study courses. You will use texts, DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes, or other materials and you will return your assignments by mail. The cost of the materials is included in the tuition and the materials are yours to keep at the conclusion of the course. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for each Traditional Course depending on the course you choose.
