Enroll any time. One year to complete.

This course attempts to address several questions that have come down through history: did Camelot really exist? Was there an Arthur or was he merely a legend? What was life really like in those days? Participants will see the magic of Merlin and the jealousy of Mordred, and included is a movie version of Camelot so you may compare the facts with fiction. A final project puts you in the shoes of Arthur to construct a modern-day Camelot. An excellent course for English teachers who may wish to compare Arthurian thought found in other pieces of literature such as Eliot's Wasteland. Recommended for instructors of junior and senior students.
