This course examines the work of some of the finest female mystery writers in the field. A project on four novels encourages the student to examine the novels from a variety of vantage points: character development, setting, mood, and intent. The student will also visit one of the most complete web sites on the Internet to view a myriad of possibilities for future studies. A movie/novel comparison project is also included.
