Gangs: Southern California Black

1) OG: The letters
"OG" denote the individual is an original gangster, or founding
member of the gang.
2) Sniper: The moniker of the individual that scrawled the gang graffiti.
3) 8/3: The numbers are pronounced "eight-trey," for 83rd
Street. This is usually a specific set/gang or block/clique of a gang.
It may also be written "8-3."
4) HC: The letters "HC" mean "Hoover Crip," a specific
Crip gang.
5) Sur: This is Spanish for the cardinal direction of south. In graffiti,
it means Southern California. It has been copied from the Hispanic gangs.
6) P/K: These letters mean Piru Killer: Pirus are rivals to Crips. This
could also be "B/K" (Blood Killer) or "P/187" (Piru
murderer; Section 187 is the penal code for murder).
