Albuquerque: From Pueblos to the Nuclear Age

This course encompasses the study of Southwestern tribes, exploration of prehistoric beginnings in the area, and the influence of nuclear energy. Several museums, a walking tour of Old Town and storytelling fulfill its content for the 3-unit portion. A photo essay and trip to the Pueblo of Acoma is added to accomplish a single or additional unit of credit. The Acoma tour guides will explain the rich culture of this pueblo, including the Native American pottery.

*CREDIT: Semester hours of non-degree Professional Development Credit is offered through LMU. Students meeting course syllabus requirements earn a grade on their transcript of CR (credit).
