Designed to acquaint the teacher with some forgotten moments in American history which later profoundly impacted later American life, this course includes events such as the Hamilton-Burr duel (do you remember who was killed?), the handling of the slavery question during the construction of the Constitution, American soldier participation in the Mexican War, Andersonville Prison, and George WashingtonÕs earliest ambitions.

*CREDIT: Semester hours of non-degree Professional Development Credit is offered through LMU. Students meeting course syllabus requirements earn a grade on their transcript of CR (credit). Students not meeting requirements earn a grade of NC (no credit). Professional Development Credit is not applicable toward any undergraduate or graduate degree at Loyola Marymount University.
