The rich cultural and historical heritage of Seattle is explored in this course through an in-depth look at the Black, Scandinavian and Indian cultures which developed the city. Also included are its transition and contribution to the aeronautical and space ages.

*CREDIT: Semester hours of non-degree Professional Development Credit is offered through LMU. Students meeting course syllabus requirements earn a grade on their transcript of CR (credit). Students not meeting requirements earn a grade of NC (no credit). Professional Development Credit is not applicable toward any undergraduate or graduate degree at Loyola Marymount University. Courses are designed for student with baccalaureate degrees and appropriate teaching credentials.
