Understanding and teaching the ADD/ADHD child can be one of the most challenging tasks a teacher can undertake.  This course attempts to explain what the condition is, how the child's mind works, and how the teacher can approach this task.  It also includes a text which takes a different view of ADD/ADHD and suggests some new approaches.

*CREDIT: Semester hours of non-degree Professional Development Credit is offered through LMU. Students meeting course syllabus requirements earn a grade on their transcript of CR (credit). Students not meeting requirements earn a grade of NC (no credit). Professional Development Credit is not applicable toward any undergraduate or graduate degree at Loyola Marymount University.
