Instruction for the intermediate golfer with emphasis on specialty shots, sand shots, pitching, putting refinement and various other golf situations. A video by Barry Wallace demonstrates remedies and examples of each situation, and provides information on how to build inexpensive golf practice areas on campus.  Also included are texts expanding on the more advanced elements of golf. On-course and driving range practice required.

*CREDIT: Semester hours of non-degree Professional Development Credit is offered through LMU. Students meeting course syllabus requirements earn a grade on their transcript of CR (credit). Students not meeting requirements earn a grade of NC (no credit). Professional Development Credit is not applicable toward any undergraduate or graduate degree at Loyola Marymount University. Courses are designed for student with baccalaureate degrees and appropriate teaching credentials. Course credit may be used for some professional advancement requirements, such as salary movement and recertification credits.
